Teen mom demi lovato- As the summer heats up, so does the music scene and many of today's most popular teen stars like Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are making headlines with their pop sounds this season. Demi Lovato
On July 5 Demi Lovato revealed the cover of her upcoming single "Skyscraper." But rather than being surrounded by high rises on city streets, Lovato is shown being kissed by sunlight in a desert landscape. The former "Sonny With a Chance" star shared the cover for this first post-rehab tune, which will be released digitally on July 14.
Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez went with a much moodier cover for her new album "When the Sun Goes Down," sporting a jewel-encrusted, Deco era look. And in the CD's liner notes she gave a shout out to her boyfriend, and BFF, Justin Bieber, saying "All of my warriors. Priscilla, Ashley, Gladys, Jaime, Brookie, Taylor and Cameron. Without your love, support, and friendships I would be crazy. Justin, my best friend. "I'm fun right?"
Keke Palmer
Keke Palmer is still raking in the accolades for her super sexy look at the BET Awards' red carpet a couple of weeks ago. But she's moving on to even bigger and better things. The "True Jackson, VP" star is set to play herself and have a "love connection" with Sav Bhandari on the special one-hour "Degrassi: Now or Never" season premiere. Palmer is slated to performer to original songs "The Greatest" and "Walls Come Down" on the show when it returns on July 18 at 9 p.m. EST/8 p.m. Central on TeenNick.
Victoria Justice
Victoria Justice and her castmates from "Victorious" took to the stage at The Avalon in Hollywood this past May for a live performance. The gig was filmed for the Walmart Soundcheck concert series. A preview is available at the superstore's website now and the full event is set to be released soon. The concert will feature tunes from the show like "My Best Friend's Brother," which Justice said she penned in honor of a real life gal pal's cool older sibling, who was into punk music. She figured she wasn't the only girl who could relate to having a crush on her BFF's bro.
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus surprised fans Down Under last week when she performed an unexpected cover tune. The pop star did her version of the Gorillaz song "On Melancholy Hill" from their 2010 record "Plastic Beach." The "Hannah Montana" star wrapped up her "Gypsy Heart Tour" in Perth, Australia, with the unusual cover. Odd song choices seem to her signature move. In the past she's delivered her interpretation of the Nirvana's 1991 grunge anthem "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and her take on Poison's 1988 metal hit "Every Rose Has Its Thorn."
