The actor's costar Mary J. Blige, who plays gentlemen's nightclub owner Justice Charlier, looks dramatically different in the first promo shot from the upcoming film. Sporting shoulder-length blonde braids, the 40-year-old singer-turned-actress dazzles in a strapless silver top.
Though the film features A-list actors like Julianne Hough, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin and Malin Akerman, Blige was most excited to team up with Cruise, 48.
"I love that man," she told Us Weekly in April. "He just really wants the best for everybody. You've got to love a person like that. He wants you to win."
Rock of Ages hits theaters on June 1, 2012.
